A plump drop of red lacquered Maiorca pearl, glossy as a candied cherry, hangs beneath a burst of coloured zirconias in amber, violet, teal, rose and sunshine yellow. The whole cluster swings from a slim gold hook, so it catches the light every time you move.

Every zirconia is wired on by hand in gold, one tiny stone at a time, until the little crown looks like confetti caught mid-air. Because each pair is assembled entirely by hand, no two clusters are ever quite the same.

To keep the lacquered pearl glossy and the gold finish bright, avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, soap and water. Put your earrings on last, wipe them gently with a soft cloth and store them separately.
