A midnight garden, two metres long.
Lys Indigo is the night-time sister of our Emerald Lily square. Deep indigo hills roll down the length of the scarf, each one edged in a fine line of copper, and through them flow bands of peacock-feather pattern in coral and cornflower blue. Ice-blue lilies and mint blossoms spill across the dark like moonlit petals, while sprays of coral flowers and copper leaves bring a warm glow. Little turquoise birds dart between the blooms, a bee sits in a rose-copper oval like a jewel in a brooch, and copper fan medallions peek in from the edges.
The design takes its cues from Art Nouveau, Belle Époque interiors and the great floral motifs of art history, rich in detail and a little theatrical without ever getting fussy. It is printed in Lyon, France's historic silk-printing city, using solvent-free inks, onto a blend of 95% cashmere and 5% silk. That means real warmth with an airy, almost weightless feel, finished with delicate fringed ends that move as you do.
At 200x70 cm there's plenty of scarf to play with. Throw it over one shoulder and let it trail like a cape over a camel knit and a checked mini skirt, wrap it twice around the neck over a navy or chocolate coat, or drape it as a stole for a winter dinner. Indigo with coral and copper is that rare mix that works with almost everything you own.

Care Note
Cashmere likes to be pampered. Hand wash only, using a special wool detergent and no fabric softener. Soak briefly, pat gently, then rinse in clean water. Press out the excess water by rolling it in a towel (no wringing!) and dry flat, away from direct heat. Treat it kindly and it will stay soft for years.
Cura
Cura
