Lapis Lazuli Mandala Button Earrings

A little firework, frozen in blue and gold.

A round burst of deep blue lapis lazuli beads, flecked with paler blue and the odd glint of gold, fans out from the centre of each earring. Around the edge, a ring of sparkling gold-toned hematite beads sits on fine wire stems, so the whole button looks like a starburst caught mid-sparkle.

Every bead is wired on by hand in gold, one at a time, which makes each pair one of a kind. Lapis lazuli has been treasured since ancient Egypt, and Renaissance painters ground it into ultramarine, the most precious blue on their palettes. Now it's your turn to wear it.

Sitting close to the ear, these buttons bring a lot of colour without any swing. Try them with denim and a crisp white shirt, or let them light up something navy or black. Hair up is strongly encouraged.

Care

Avoid contact with perfume, soap and water. Store separately to protect the gold finish, stones and delicate wirework.
