The Vela Woven Belt is a taupe braid of tightly woven polyester, with a herringbone-style texture that looks great close up. It's finished with smooth light brown leather at the tip and keepers, both neatly stitched, and closes with a clean, rectangular pin buckle in satin nickel. There are no holes to fuss with: the pin slips through the weave wherever it fits best.

Inspired by the world of sailing and made with selected materials and Italian craftsmanship, it combines everyday function with an understated finish. On the double loop there's a small Italian flag loop stopper, a quiet nod to where it was made. At just 130 g, it feels light and comfortable to wear.

Pair it with linen trousers, chinos and boat shoes, or jeans and a white tee. It's an easy everyday belt for weekends on the water, or just for wishing you were there.

Dimensions

To find your size, lay a belt that fits you comfortably flat. Measure from the outer end of the buckle to the hole you normally use, then choose the closest size in centimetres.

Gitana belt sizes are measured from the outer end of the buckle to the centre hole, not to the tip of the belt.

Care
