Leopard Azure is a garden painted entirely in shades of blue, with a big cat hiding in plain sight. Soft denim hills roll down the length of the scarf, each traced with a fine cream line, and between them pale sky-blue valleys are thick with lilies. Powder-blue roses and tiny cream blossoms gather among inky navy leaves, big star-shaped flowers are sketched in cream, and little golden-cream birds swoop across with wings spread wide. The star of the show? A spotted leopard, curled up in a pale blue oval framed by swirling Art Nouveau knotwork, appearing twice along the scarf like a cameo you only notice on the second look. Large mosaic medallions peek in from the edges to finish the story.

It's an exclusive design printed in Lyon, France's historic silk-printing city, using solvent-free inks, on a blend of 60% cashmere, 30% wool and 10% silk. The cashmere brings that famous softness, the wool adds cosy warmth and the silk keeps it light and fluid, so at just 95 g it feels like a hug that weighs almost nothing. Delicate fringed ends add a bit of movement every time you turn around.

At 200x70 cm, this one is made for playing. Hold it open and throw it over one shoulder like a cape with a white lace blouse and black knee-high boots, wrap it twice around your neck over a camel or grey coat, or drape it as a stole for an evening out. Blue and cream go with practically everything, and the leopard takes care of the attitude.

Care Note

Cashmere likes to be pampered. Hand wash only, using a special wool detergent and no fabric softener. Soak briefly, pat gently, then rinse in clean water. Press out the excess water by rolling it in a towel (no wringing!) and dry flat, away from direct heat. Treat it kindly and it will stay soft for years.
