Deep water, calm mind.
Denim blue, slate and stormy indigo drift across this scarf like light moving over the Venetian lagoon at dusk. Look closer and there's more going on: little flashes of aqua surface here and there, and fine squiggles of navy fibre ripple through the felt like tiny currents. The reverse is a curly, soft cornflower blue, and a thin navy stitched edge frames it all.
That watery depth comes from Nuno felting. Fine merino fibres in layered blues are placed by hand, then worked with water, soap and plenty of patience until they become one light, supple cloth with a gentle texture you'll want to keep touching. Handcrafted in Italy in 100% merino wool, so the currents in yours flow in their own direction.
Blue is the easiest colour in the world to wear, and this one plays nicely with everything. Try it with a navy peacoat, a grey marl jumper, a camel coat for contrast, or simply with jeans and a crisp white shirt. Wrap it once, cross the ends and off you go.

Please Note
Every one of these scarves is individually felted by hand. Variations in colour, texture and the blending of the fibres are not imperfections but part of the beauty of the process. This scarf is the only one of its kind, which is rather the point. You're wearing the original, not a copy.
Care Note
Merino felted without chemical treatments likes to form little "pills" where it rubs. Think of them as a certificate of quality: they're proof of pure, untreated wool, and they lift off easily with a fabric shaver or lint remover. Dry cleaning is best. If you prefer, hand wash with a brief soak in cold water and a wool and silk detergent, press out the water gently (no wringing) and dr
y flat. Iron only if you really must, inside out and with extreme care.
